LabGscanFraxa PCR kit
The LabGscanTM FRAXA PCR kit is an in vitro diagnostic test for the amplification and detection of CGG repeats in the 5'-untranslated region (5'-UTR) of FMR1 (Fragile X mental retardation 1) gene. The Kit aids to diagnose fragile-X syndrome and other fragile-X associated disorders such as Fragile X-associated primary ovarian insufficiency (FXPOI) and Fragile X-associated tremor/ataxia syndrome (FXTAS) and to identify carriers for fragile X syndrome.
The LabGscanTM FRAXA PCR Kit is based on the triplet repeat primed PCR (TP-PCR), followed by capillary electrophoresis using a Genetic Analyzer for fragment sizing.
