Flu A - Flu B - Sars CoV-2
Flu A - Flu B - Sars CoV-2 is an in vitro diagnostic test for the simultaneous detection e differentiation of SARS-CoV-2 (N gene), Flu A (M1 gene) and Flu B (NS2), by one-step Real-Time RT-PCR.
Overview
Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS‑CoV‑2) is a strain of coronavirus that causes COVID-19 (coronavirus disease 2019), the respiratory illness responsible for the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Patients infected with severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2), influenza A and influenza B show in most cases comparable or very similar manifestations but the therapeutic approaches of these respiratory viral infections are different and require an accurate diagnosis. The Flu A - Flu B - Sars CoV-2 kit allows simultaneous detection and differentiation of SARS-CoV-2, influenza A, influenza B in respiratory tract samples representing a reliable and important diagnostic aid especially during the cold season.
